Street Psalms and Mile High Ministries have teamed up to create Street Psalms Press, with three focus areas:

Our Story

Street Psalms Press was launched as an independent press in 2012. Along with the Geography of Grace book and website, other books and online materials are under development for the coming year. Our desire is to help faith communities connect with the poor, undertake honest spiritual formation and theological reflection in the context of the relationships they build, and practice the most helpful and enduring responses to poverty. We have a special focus on equipping leaders from and for lower-income, higher-risk urban communities.

The story behind Street Psalms Press is important to us, as it represents our commitment to the practice of discernment in community. The Street Psalms Community, a “dispersed community of the incarnation” composed of grassroots leaders serving among the poor around the world, is both a primary audience and primary source of content for our resource materials. The gift of the Street Psalms Community is “Seeing and celebrating good news from below.” We enthusiastically offer these resources to a broader audience of reflective activists who serve, lead, learn, teach, and mobilize communities in contexts of poverty and marginalization.
